Things are back to normal (well for us anyway)

The mister is finally home from craftmaster school and he got honor student both courses!
I was so proud of him that I even made him a sign!
(cheesy much?!?)

His birthday was this past weekend and we went to dinner and a movie, our normal routine!
We both actually wanted to see "No Strings Attached" while he was in California, so that's what we saw for his birthday/ valentines outing.
On Monday, the "actual" sweethearts day, I knew there'd be no chance of us getting any reservations anywhere so I decided to stay home and cook us a nice pot roast with potatoes and carrots complete with wine and french bread.

I've been trying to cook new things for us, and last night was the best thing I had ever attempted making and actually succeeded with pleasing my husband's taste-buds so much that he actually deemed it the best meal he has ever seen me cook! WOW!
Here is what I cooked:

Seriously Ree Drummond rocks and if you haven't tried some of her recipes I suggest you do so... TONIGHT!

I have been neglecting this photo challenge. I think it's because it takes too long for me to decide what photos I want to use. I don't have many photos as it is because they are all at my parents house not on digital cd's or sd cards. That poses a problem because my parents also don't have a scanner and they both work full time and don't have the time to scan pictures for me to use for my blog.
I'm not driving or flying to Texas to get them either.

Photo Challenge Day 10: A picture of the person you do the most screwed up things with.
I don't do anything really off the wall crazzyyy anymore, but I'm pretty sure this chick right here takes the cake of who I used to do my random stuff with. Haha. Man those were some good times, good times.

Photo Challenge Day 11: A picture of something you hate.
 YUUCCCKKK!!!!!!

I hope everyone has a lovely Thursday and doesn't think about these icky spiders all day! I know once I've seen this picture I'll be itching myself thinking they're all over me!!!

  2. Those spiders are disgusting! For a minute I thought it was a picture you took.. but then I was thinking why would someone who hates spiders take a picture like that.. I know if I saw that I'd be going the other way or yelling at my husband to get them out of the house!
